You can stay in this idyllic static location or you can take the helm of your house boat and navigate the Vaal River. There is no requirement for sailing qualifications, the boat being very easy to handle.

If you do decide to leave the pontoon and venture to the local restaurants by boat there are overnight moorings at some of the riverfront restaurant jetties. After a lovely meal what could be nicer than to just potter down the pontoon and fall into bed!
