“I only wish that we could have stayed longer. Julie made us so welcome, (all the ingredients for a cream tea in the fridge), pristine bed linen, fluffy towels and Sea-clusion (Polbathic) is so well-equipped. I really enjoyed being lulled to sleep as the tide gently came in. I felt bad because we arrived late, our Roscoff ferry docked on schedule at 21.30 in Plymouth but it took us longer to arrive at the boatyard than I anticipated so I was relieved that there was no reprimand, just a warm welcome and an informative tour of the boat. The boatyard and River Lynher are quirky and timeless, both will be included in my new short story. I recommend a stay in the houseboat to anyone who seeks to relax, unwind and recharge their batteries.”
